Bring your workbooks and do your homework! We'll be covering te sections entitled "Reality Check" and "Personal Style" - this is pages 14-27 in the book. There are questions and worksheets to help you prepare for a great discussion on Thursday so please take a look at it well in advance so it can "stew" for the next few days.
A few notes to help things run as smoothly as possible:As you know, we are a big group with lots of kids. We have 2 babysitters available to help watch kids in the basement. Please be sure to bring a donation for the babysitters in order to ensure that we have this help in the future.
Also, if you know your child will be upset by being left in the basement PLEASE DO NOT leave them--children who don't want to be downstairs are mre than welcome to play upstairs. We will avoid more break downs if we don't try to push our children into situations in which they are uncomfortable.
Another tactic to maximize the quality of the short time we have together is to not arrive until 9:30 and we will start promptly by 10. Please try to get situated as quickly as you can once you arrive. Hopefully this will minimize the number of breakdowns and burnouts:)
