Looking for Baby Care

Note from Susan Searby:

I'm looking for someone to care for my 5 month old daughter, Sophia Elise, 2 days a week during the month of May or even sooner if you're available. The hours would be from 9:30 to 5 on Thursdays and Fridays. She drinks pumped breast milk with usually an additional bottle of formula to supplement. She hasn't started solid food yet. My sister-in-law has been caring for Sophia during this time for the past couple months, but she is having her own baby soon and she'll need some time with her little one before she's able to take on Sophia again. I thought perhaps another mom who is at home with her own child(ren) may want to make some money with this part-time work. I will pay $10 an hour and am willing to bring Sophia to your home, if that works out best or is what you prefer. I live in Fairfax.

If you think this is something you might like to do or have any questions, please email me at susansearby@gmail.com

Thanks,
Susan

$70 will cover your instruction, food, and recipes.

For the Irish who love DC...

Hey Friends,

My Gaelic football team is selling these T-shirts to raise money for this upcoming season. All the cool kids are wearing them (Sweatman family included). Great St. Patrick's gift!

For those interested, my team will be running in the St Patty's 8k on Sunday March 15th and then afterwards we'll be demonstrating gaelic football on Freedom Plaza.
For those attending the parade, we'll be marching in it too....fun filled day of sober irishness :) I'm sure we'll head over to the 4 P's after it's all over for food and beer.

Please forward on to anyone who may be interested. Thank you!

Flyer with T-Shirt pic and order info
P.S. I meant to mention that they are American Apparel Tshirts so they tend to run a bit small. If you like extra room in your tshirt and are normally a Medium, I'd get a Large. They're very comfortable and flattering for a tshirt!

Cheers,
Margaret Sweatman

Bella the Bear

I'd like to see if anyone is interested in coming to check out my inventory of bows.  I did a couple of holiday events and still have inventory left over.  It includes Christmas hair bows & headbands, as well as "everyday wear" hair bows & headbands.  Instead of doing a specific night, I am going to do shopping by appointment anytime Friday, Dec. 19th to Tuesday, Dec. 23rd.  People can bring their kids and they can play with mine while they shop.  I don't even mind if a group of moms (with their kids) came at the same time!  20% off an entire purchase for anyone that sends me an email before 3pm tomorrow!  Appointments can be made by emailing me at clara@bellathebear.com.

Thank you!
Clara
