Family Enrichment First Steps Course Demonstration

Hey Everyone--

I wanted to pass on information about the International Federation for Family Development and its offshoot Family Enrichment of Metropolitan Washington's First Steps Program. A complimentary demonstration of the First Steps program will be held Sat. March 7th from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm at the Falls Church Community Center. There is no commitment involved if you attend the demonstration to learn about the program; though it is required to continue the course.

The course employs the 'case study method' to help couples rationally deal with family issues regarding marriage and family. The meetings are conducted by trained moderators
and involve a discussion of case studies of hypothetical family situations. Couples are encouraged to apply the 'case study method' to their own family situations privately. My husband and I plan to attend the course so hopefully we'll see you there.

Additionally, a course with different topics will be conducted in the Fall of 2009 and be geared towards parents of older children.
