Are you ready for some Football?

Gaelic football that is!

So my Gaelic team is in recruiting mode and figured with all the young
moms you're friends with some are bound to be athletic or have friends/sisters who would like to try Gaelic football.
If anyone's played soccer or basketball then it builds off that same skill set. NO TACKLING and it's not
like rugby at all so don't let the "football" scare you.

Gaelic sports are a great way to meet people, build camaraderie, and
have fun exercising all at the same time. Whether you are brand new to
the sports or have been playing your whole life, the D.C. Gaels want to
invite you to participate in Open Field Days from 11am-2pm on the
National Mall (at 15th Street and Constitution Ave, NW, Washington,
D.C.) on March 21, 28 and April 4.

The club has experienced players and coaches to help you learn the
basics or to help you brush up if you are feeling a little rusty. Not only will
you be joining a championship-winning club, you will also be participating
in a sport that brings Irish culture to life.

The D.C. Gaels welcome all ages and experience levels, and we will
work hard to make your Gaelic sports experience as rewarding as
possible. Be part of the only Gaelic club in the U.S. to have won National
championships in all four sports—and be prepared to try for more
championship cups this year.
