At this popular annual event young children (ages 4 - 10) can demonstrate with pride

what they already know and learn some new practical skills, too. Older children (ages

11 & up) can volunteer for community service hours. Adult volunteers are also

needed. Activities include:

● Cooking/Good Eats

● Make your own “I CAN” Can

● Home Creating: vacuuming, ironing, sewing a button & hem, sewing machine, dishwashing

● Home Maintenance: painting, electricity, carpentry, drywall, carpet cleaning

● People Skills: Phone & Table manners and Cyber Smarts

● The Good Earth - Grow Your Own Food

● What’s Wrong With This Room? a game of detection

● Passport to Self-Sufficiency
