Dear Couple to Couple League Member:
The purpose of this email is to inform you about supplemental NFP
classes for CCL members during the summer and supportive local health
services available for you in the Northern Virginia Area.
Supplemental NFP Classes
These two-hour classes are FREE to current CCL members (You may renew
your membership for $35 online at www.ccli.org or by calling
1-800-745-8252.)
1. The CCL NFP Upgrade Class (for those who took the CCL course
prior to January 2008). This class introduces you to the new student
guide, rules, and charts that are in the new class series. Click here

2. The CCL Postpartum Class is available for those couples who
are pregnant or recently postpartum. You will learn to recognize the
hormonal changes in the transition from pregnancy back to normal
fertility cycles. Chick here for more information and to register for

3. The CCL Premenopause Class is available for those couples
interested in learning how to recognize hormonal changes and applying
NFP during the transition from Premenopause and menopause. Click here

4. There are classes regularly scheduled in the Northern Virginia
area. Check the local CCL website at www.nova.ccli.org for the
current schedule.
Supportive Local Health Services
1. For OB-GYN services, contact the NFP-friendly Tepeyac
Family Center at (703) 273-9440 or by email at
info@tepeyacfamilycenter.com. They are located in Fairfax, Virginia,
and are the largest OB-GYN practice of its kind in the country. You
can visit their website at www.tepeyacfamilycenter.com. The founder
of Tepeyac is Dr. John Bruchalski, a member of the CCL Board of
Advisors. Tepeyac Family Center is a non-profit OB-GYN practice which
is part of the Divine Mercy Care healthcare system.
2. Another entity under the Divine Mercy Care healthcare
system is the DMC Pharmacy, a non-profit pro-life, pro-family
pharmacy. In her book, Fertility, Cycles & Nutrition, Marilyn Shannon
recommends Optivite for women and Androvite for men. Both of these
supplements are now available locally at the DMC Pharmacy in
Chantilly. Additionally, the DMC Pharmacy has copies of all of the
new CCL Course materials, digital thermometers, and chart books. For
your convenience, they can mail your order to you. You can contact

NFP Upgrade Class
July 18th, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., St. James, Falls Church
Prerequisite: Must be a current member of CCL who learned Natural
Family Planning through CCL prior to January 2008. New Course
materials will be available at the class.

NFP Postpartum Class
July 12th, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., St. Raymond, Springfield:
Prerequisite: Must be a current member of CCL who attended an Upgrade
Class OR at least the first two classes of the new CCL course (after
January 2008).
This class is for couples who are pregnant or recently postpartum. You
will learn to recognize the hormonal changes in the transition from
pregnancy back to normal fertility cycles; how various types of baby
feeding affect the return of fertility; the benefits of breastfeeding;
how to apply NFP during the postpartum time; and how to make informed
decisions regarding responsible parenthood and future pregnancies.

NFP Premenopause Class
August 16th, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., St. Raymond, Springfield:
Prerequisite: Must be a current member of CCL who attended an Upgrade
Class OR at least the first two classes of the new CCL course (after
January 2008).
This class is for couples interested in learning how to recognize
hormonal changes and apply NFP during the transition from premenopause
to menopause, and how to maintain good health during this time.
